My H1 Extension approved from Sept'2010 - Dec 2012. LCA shows same dates and the salary shown is $5500 PM ($66000 P.A)
However recently, i noticed that i am receiving $5373(instead of $5500) per month since Sept'2010 till date.
I informed to my employer and he is willing to increase the pay from March.
Is it possible to correct it from March payroll.
Please advise.

The employer should correct it from March and pay the 6 months difference as bonus. At end of year your salary should be at least equal to LCA.

My husband is having L1A visa through company X.
Howmany days/moths/years will it take for us to get GREENCARD if we apply in MAY2008.
I understood no LC is required for L1A visa holders Greencard processing.

Yours will be EB1C. You can expect to get GC in 1-2 years.

You can take time off -- like 4 weeks without any issue (I have done this), as long as the new company has filed to transfer your H1B petition.
I guess you should avoid going out of status -- where the old company has revoked your H1B when the new company hasn't even filed the H1B transfer petition. Other than this, taking time off between jobs should not be any problem at all, provided you stay within the country and, no travel outside the US. But if you do, you should consult your lawyer about its implications. Good luck with your new endeavors.

My friend has H1 and working for company A. He transferred his H1 and started working for company B (Its been 4 weeks and he has 2 paystubs from company B).
He is sure that company A didn't revoked / cancelled his H1. Now he wants to move to company A (old one). Is this possible?

We hired a scientist with O-1 visa two year ago (company provided all the documents). This scientist applied green card (EB-1) last year. This week he recived a letter rejecting his application. The reason is not about his personal qualification but is about the company. Letter says company had no publications although we provided the copies of US patent applications.
We are a small R&D company with no budget for and work plan for any kind paper writing. Can INS use "without publication" as the only reason to turn down the EB-1 type application?
This scientist is very important to our company. What shoul we do to let INS reconsider this decision?

You will be using XNA Game Studio (installs into Visual Studio), to develop games. All your time other than for graphics will be spent in Visual Studio 2010. Highly recommend you have a device. Testing in the emulator is not the greatest for games.
Note: All you need is the freely available tools (Express Editions). Having the student or paid versions does not really benefit those using the XNA Game Studio, or building applications for WP7. I'm sure that page says that, just didn't want you to get confused.
If you have done any other game programming you will find everything pretty easy, just takes a bit to get use to. It sounds like you are new to C#, but don't worry most tutorials are setup in a way this shouldn't be a problem.
The MSDN Create site has code samples and there are lengthy tutorials online that will help you get started with XNA.

you can use OCT 02 EB3, file I-140, after it is approved you can port the Oct 02 PD for the EB2 application too. This way you will be current as soon as I-140 is approved, guaranteeed.

If the House manages to pass CIR this year, wouldn't a committee (Senate & House members) meet and chalk of the difference and come to a common ground?
Pending legislation from last year were part of a different congress (house+senate), and all bills from last congress, that failed to become law, expired at the beginning of this year when a new Congress took charge. That's why CIR is being re-introduced in both the house and senate.

For all the friends at IV who have already received their EAD's and/or renewed their EAD's i wanted to ask how long does it take for a person to receive their EAD after filling their 485 provided their date is current. Is filing for EAD an additional step to filling a 485 once the date is current?
2nd scenario: If i decide to change my job and my I-140 is approved with my current employer. The new job is the same level and category as my job description on my current I-140, in a new company. Can i port my PD with the new employer without any affect of I-140 withdrawl from my old employer or will the porting need to be executed prior to my old employer pulling the I-140 petition? I have some understanding about the situation but i wanted multiple opinions just to firm my understanding. Thanks in advance and may GOD help us all through the wait period to get our destinations.
