Why the lawyer need some information from your wife ? ( she no need to apply any thing , since your GC is approved ).
I think best way to tralk to HR dept in your wifes company and explain them. that you will get GC soon. If they need some proof show them approval email .
If they ask to fill i9 form show the EAD as proof for employment eligibility.
New company lawer is not accepting EAD, even though we don't have written approval confiramtion

Not sure, employer is not sharing the "reason for denial" letter. Since me and my wife went to india and got visa stamped, i didnot force them.

Did everyone get receipt and transfer notice? I ask because I only got Transfer notice, and lawyer is not responding about whether he received a receipt notice(with July 2nd date ) also.

As i understand for labor there are only 2 centers right ? one is the atlanta processing center and the other is chicago processing center. Atlanta processing center caters to the state in which my employer has registered his company so i believe he must have sent my application to this processing center only.

I don't know how you can generalize like that. Sure that I was also burnt by a Desi company. But that is no excuse to say that All Desi company's are like that. I am sure this topic is very well discussed in some other thread. I am posting this as I am surprised not to see somebody jumping in against such generalizations.
So make it a promise to yourself that if you ever start a company you will not screw up anybody (desi or otherwise)

Labor has to be pending 1 year. I think you will get your PERM approval soon as DOL at present is free.
Be prepared with the paper work for your I-140 premium so that you can file it as soon as you get the PERM approval.
The lawyers will say it will take them no time but they will delay it by at-least 3 weeks to get the paper work done.
In the worst case go for a vacation for 4 months to Canada, get your paper work mailed to you, get the extension stamping done and be back.

Myy EAD is expiring and Renewal is taking more than 1 year as per new processing times.
Can I switch back to H1-B. I am in EAD and I dont have any H1-B status now. I have used 5 1/2 years of h1B previously. Six years is not utilized
What are pros and cons..

As per my understanding , as long as you file for renew your EAD before the expiry you are in status , so why do you want to go back to H1??

Please reach out to your friends in times of difficulty....the world is not going to end if you don't have a job OR if you there are delays in getting your GC..the world is a wonderful place and still full of opportunity - to add value, to help others etc...you may need to reach out to your friends for help to find your calling or the next opportunity....please don't be desperate....and please ask for help. we all have so many things to be happy and thankful for...

one more question... if I reenter using my AP then IO always take you to some place/room to verify something or its sometimes/randomly only? I just realize that my connection time while coming back from one airport(POE) to another is just 2 hours.
